This goes in

  • 50 g planted.pulled Chimichurri
  • 1 pc. Bread of your choice (e.g. wholemeal rye bread)
  • 1 handful of fresh mixed leaf lettuce (ruccola, batavia, spinach, cress, clover)
  • 2 tbsp hummus (see preparation hummus)

Hummus

Ingredients

  • 200 g chickpeas, cooked
  • 1 tbsp tahini paste
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • ½ lemon, juice
  • 1 clove of garlic, pressed
  • Salt, pepper, a little cumin
  • 1 small bunch of chives

Preparation Hummus:

  1. Place all the hummus ingredients except the chives in a blender jar.  
  2. Blend for at least 1 minute to make a creamy hummus.  
  3. Add a little more water (or oil) depending on the desired consistency.  
  4. Wash and chop the chives. Add to the hummus and mix in by hand.

Sandwich preparation: 

  1. Heat a frying pan with a little oil and fry the planted.pulled chimichurri on medium heat. Reduce the heat after 5-6 minutes.  
  2. Toast the bread slices. Spread 1 tbsp of the hummus on each side of the bread slices.  
  3. Then place one slice of bread on a plate and top with lettuce and planted.pulled chimichurri. Place the second slice of bread on top. If necessary, use a toothpick to secure it.
